Early Check In: Date to be announced; We will host an Early Check In. We strongly encourage all registered campers to check in on this date and pick up your camp t-shirt. This will help on the first day of camp in that you will not have to wait in any lines to check in.
Outstanding Balances

. If this is not possible, the balance must be paid for on the first day of camp.
Camp T-Shirts: All campers will receive a
camp t-shirt per camp you registered for
and
in the size
ordered on your registration form. If you desire a different size, we will do our best to accommodate after all t-shirts have been issued. We also hope to have extra t-shirts for sale. All Campers MUST wear their camp t-shirt everyday to camp (with the
exception on Jersey day where
campers can wear any athletic jersey of their choice
).
Sunscreen: Due to medical and legal reasons; we are not authorized to apply sunscreen to any camper. Please ensure your camper has applied sunscreen prior to arrival. All campers will spend a minimum of 1 hour on the outdoor courts.
Medications: Any camper that requires medication i.e. an Inhaler, EpiPen, etc. should bring this to the attention of DN Hoops Camp Staff on the first day of camp. We do screen all registration forms, however it helps to have eyes on the individuals who do require medication of some sort.
Personal Belongings: Please DO NOT bring a basketball (we have plenty). Please bring a sports bottle with WATER ONLY. Be sure it is labeled. All personal belongings should be secured in a backpack or gym bag of some sort. Be sure the bag is labeled with name.
Pairing of Friends: We always do our best to ensure friends are paired in the same group when requested. However we cannot promise this when forming our 5v5 teams as it can result in very unfair play.
Daily Pick Up of Camper: We ask that you please respect our time and pick up your camper promptly at the end of their camp session
. We do not leave the gym until ALL campers are picked up from inside the gym or in the picnic table area in front of the gym. We do not allow campers to leave the gym on their own which means all campers MUST be picked up and signed for in or in front of the gym.
- If someone other than the parent/guardian listed on the registration form is authorized to pick up camper; we ask that a list of names and contact information of those authorized to pick up your camper be provided in writing. Please provide this document at the Early Check In or on the first day of camp.
- If your camper is authorized to walk home, we will require this authorization in writing. This document should be provided at the Early Check In or first day of camp.
Snack Bar: We will have a stocked snack bar for the campers during snack break and lunch break. Most items are $1.00 each. We will also sell
ice-cream at the end of each days session.
Lunch: All campers participating in the Youth Camps should bring a lunch. We will have snack items for sale, however a sandwich should be packed so the camper has enough to eat for lunch.
Removal From Camp: In 15 years of hosting summer camps, we have only had to remove 2 campers from participating in our camps due to very disruptive and extreme negative attitude. We do everything we possibly can to assist and help campers in having a very positive and enjoyable experience. However, if we have exhausted all our means to ensure each camper is conducting him/herself appropriately; we do reserve the right to remove any camper from participation of our camps.
